Hi I’ve been really down for a couple months. I have seasonal depression and I’m bipolar so this happens from time to time. However, I am happy to say I’m still off oxygen except for bedtime. I use the elliptical and treadmill 4 days a week. I tried daily it was too much on my body. My lungs feel good, my heart is doing better, so is my pulmonary hypertension. I’ve been encouraged by all your posts. No if the flu would leave my body I’d be quite fine. Thanks for listening. By the way I’ve lost some weight and it’s making it so much easier to breathe at night. I’ll keep going. I have a lot to lose.

Hi my name is Sarah and I have just been told that I have copd. Like u I to have mental health problems. Sound like u have had a rough time of it. Do u get any support for your physical and mental health problems? I find that talking about my issues really helps but I no this is not for everybody. Like u I to am trying to lose weight. I have managed to lose a stone and a half and only have another 6 stone to go lol. Im doing weight watchers. How have u managed to lose weight?
Thanks for your reply. I see a counselor for my depression. I’m also on meds for it. Yes, it is very helpful. To lose weight I have to tell myself it’s a lifestyle change instead of a diet. When I dieted in the past I went to far to be thin. Then I went to the other extreme and became obese. I’ve been eating only my scheduled meals at set times to lose weight. I don’t eat after 4 pm. I do intermittent fasting. And it helps me so much. But mostly eating fresh veggies, soup, or fruit with cottage cheese is my way. I eat some meat but not everyday and not every meal. Best of luck to you on your weight loss journey. Take it a pound at a time so you don’t get discouraged.
Great you’ve come thru your depression. Sounds like you’re doing everything right. Stay strong 🐞
