Hi everyone we find this sight very helpful with any problems my hubby has with his COPD which he has had for 26yrs. Does anyone know if the nasal spray first defence helps with reducing the many chest infections he gets . If someone even sneezes near him it starts an infection off .
Many thanks

Absolutely yes. A member from this forum recommended it to me some months ago as last year i limped from one infection to another. I have not had an infection since I started using it. It’s certainly worth a try. Hope it works for your Hubby.
I am newly diagnosed copd and don't know if first defence works but I have started using it when out and about because I always get lots of colds. Worth giving it a try to see if it does help.
Yes! Definitely worth the investment. It contains anti-viral. Many of us swear by it.
Great for out and about, travelling, public transtport, airports and on planes.
Just be sure you just do a little squirt in each nostril - not an inhalation that I did the first time!obviously you can't share it so advisable to invest in one each.
First Defence is great. I also use the more expensive NasalGuard Cold and Flu block, especially when travelling on public transport, attending theatres and other places with air conditioning.
Is that Vicks too Ergendl? As in can I get from any pharmacy, I've been lucky so far this winter but I'm flying soon. Hope you're as well as can be xxx
The company is Trutek. I get it from the big Boots shop in our nearby retail park, rather than the smaller Boots in the town centre. Haven't tried to buy it anywhere else.
I use Vicks First Defence and find it definitely seems to ward off infections also on the recommendation of someone on this site - for which I am grateful so worth a try - good luck xxx
I have used it this year for the first time and this is the first winter in many that I have not so far had a cold or infection. Worth giving it a try even if it is only psychological.
