I must have counted 25 items this morning for breakfast..
So went to RBH again, told to start on rescue doxy, having prednisolone on top of Hydrocortisone and rest. I did yesterday, soup and bed rest!
Well it must have been an infection that made me so short of breath because now I am actually coughing and breathing. Wonโt tell you more, youโll know.
The business of drugs and pain, we agreed to leave it till I got back home.
He was very good. Told me to always look at the larger picture. He said they have a saying, you put 3 doctors in a room you will get 4 opinions ๐! He said there are solutions and I have to ask for what suits me!
Cheered me up!!
So there you my dear BLF friends, one has to plod on. And I shall endeavour. Will wrap up well and face the world today.
That sounds like a much more optimistic approach, Fran, a spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down ๐ผ!
Stay warm, do, we had a white over here all day yesterday, very cold indeed, had to put socks on under my flip flops for yoga ๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ others wore furry boots!! Ha!
Babysitting today, with fish fingers n chips for tea, Iโve just been told.....I should have two pleased little ones ๐ค
That sounds like a good plan. All the stuff you have to do whilst you feel dreadful. I always say you have to be well to be ill, but it usually turns out for the best. Great to hear your family are coming down - enjoy Fran.
Hi Fran I admire your determination, please keep it up. Hope you are keeping well and warm, and I hope your mum is also doing well. ๐Love Bernadette xxx
Mum has finally been able to wear shoes although she doesnโt find it comfortable..and her back is all out with those orthopaedic contraptions so she isnโt a happy lady.
When I have the energy I will go down to the south of France to see her or fetch her but in the spring. Snowy Switzerland is not her cup of tea!
Cor blimey Mrs,i hope you didn't bump into Dick Van Dyke on your meander around the streets of London."look at the big picture" says the man in the white coat?In which case he has you reduced now to a mere atom, when is your next appointment at the Hadron collider?given it's location on the Swiss border you won't have far to commute.
Now get your bum down to the bridge for the match tonight against Spurs and i dare you to stand in the Mathew Harding stand with a Spurs shirt on.
No Im not going tonight love, Im not up to it. Will watch it on tv..is it on Sky? Im going on Saturday against Sheffield and 2/02 against Huddersfield.
Oh ๐ฟSkis can you just imagine dear Hidden , standing for 90minutes+++half time& extra time,in the quiet(understatement) calm atmosphere of the Mathew Harding stand? It made me ๐....just the thought of her being freezing cold and then to cap it all, she'll be wearing a "Tottenham"(never heard of them,so must be an insignificant team!!!!)shirt!๐ I'm sure she won't mind me having a laugh at her expense! However, if you do read this Fran, you must totally wrap up from head to toe.....So out your Tottenham shirt on over your coat! Got water bottle and a flask of whisky is a must along with hat, scarf and gloves.
Wow deep respect and envy,an F.A cup game at the weekend and as you say you may even get to see our new Argentinian loanee if he trains well over the next 2 days.i admire your resolve and get up and go attitude whilst you have been in London, but then again i think it is your second home and it makes you feel alive again.
Itโs not resolve my dear Skis, itโs more despair ๐ฉ with Franโs sense of humour saving her from herself!!
๐
Oh yes I was fading away in cabin fever country..here I am 10mn from the RBH, 20mn walk to Stamford bridge and only a bus away from M&S, what more does a French woman want ๐
Sorry to hear you have picked up a bug, and Hope you can shake it off quickly. Perhaps the purchase of some decent thermals to keep your chest warm, might be good! Itโs spring like here today after a raw dreadfully cold day yesterday. Bulbs are popping up and Iโve a big bunch of daffodils , via Tescoโs , sitting on the window sil cheering me up no end. Seeing my Lungman today for my checkup , had to up my Prednisolone after my chest started playing up, so Iโll see what he says. ๐ผ
No I didnโt pick up anything it is chronic and latent. It sorts of builds up until I canโt breathe and am all tight and congested, then I get antibiotics and steroids for a couple of weeks, it cleanses things and I feel relatively well for another couple of weeks if I am lucky and it starts again. Does that ring a bell?
I just think I donโt have the immune system to fight it and see it through anymore.
Hope your appointment went well. It is a vicious circle, we are forever upping medication but if it helps to live our life more comfortably..
Love,
Fran xx

I have at this moment a Huge Pan of Beef Stew & Dumplings Simmering,Hot Baked Bread with Beer & Wine to wash it Down. Great in this Very Icy Cold Weather here in the Midlands, although Today the Sun has been out, so That is a Bonus. Good to know your Mum is Better and your Future is Looking Busy. Adios Amiga. xxxx
