Youβve reminded me of my dad, Don. He had a three wheeler pusher too, went out each day and said he felt a lot better for It. Enjoy your trips out in the fresh air! π²π³π²
The subject comes first, then the rhyme, then the googling for an image. Choosing the search words carefully usually brings up something near to what I have in mind. In fact picking a subject is getting to be the hardest. I must have written something approaching 300 rhymes by now. Enough to keep people busy for quite some time after I've gone, if they have a mind to do that. π
Its so good, have you always written poems Don?. I think you should have a book, Im sure it would sell like hot cakes. That could be your next poem " hot cakes " ha! Well they always make me smile x
Don, I'd be lost without my wheels. I have a chunky four wheeled walker with a sturdy padded seat. I call it my princess chair. It's great for a little local shopping or sitting on when using the local buses. Only downside it's a hefty weight and it still chunky when folded. o I now have a light weight, umbrella fold 4 wheeler, looks like a directors chair on wheels. It's not as sturdy but far better when being given lifts in friends cars.
I never imagined I'd be so happy to have 2 wheely walkers.
My old Dad was a carpenter and always stressed how important it was to have the right tools for the job. And that applies to everything you do in life π. My walker is an aliminium lightweight one that fits easily in the tiny boot of my car for shopping etc. Itβs also good for walking Midge around the block. I was getting a bit concerned about walking too far and having trouble getting back. Then it occurred to me that I could walk around supermarkets pushing a shopping trolley much further than with just my walking stick. Keeping our legs working is so important. π£π£xx
