Hello everyone,
I hope all have been enjoying the Christmas festivities.
I'm just looking to share my experience and see if anyone else has gone through the same and can offer me any advise.
I recently had Pleurectomy surgery on my right lung on the 9th of November and had a follow up x-ray on the 6th December which gave me the all clear. I felt okay in the main but over the last few days I have been experiencing tightness on the right lung again. I can breathe in and fill my lung but feel restriction when exhaling and sound slightly wheezy when forcing breathe out. I still have a kind of numb feeling on the right hand side which I am assuming is nerve damage following the incisions around the rib cage so not overly worried about that part.
I'm not sure if this is normal or if it's even possible to have another collapse after the surgery and was hoping someone has had a similar experience they can share.
Should I get myself into the GP??
Thanks in advance!
