The day has finally arrived and has been somewhat of a whirlwind. Whythenshaw hospital is that large to get to a certain appointment i had to hire two sherpas , (porters will not take you to this destination as i found out today ).it was at the other end ofcthe hospital , i was literally imagining some spooky haunted department that strong men and women fear to tread but instead i found the most lovely lady you could ever wish to meet ( diane was her name) I have been taken care of very well and tomorrow its round two ,a little word of advice those decorative stones at the frontof main entrance are not wheel chair friendly they shake you up so much all my loose chsnge fellout of my oockets or perhaps that's their purpose,
Good night everyone ,sleep well and pleasent dreams

I see the funny side of your trip. To day we had one hour car journey to Lincoln hospital then a 40 minute walk to the department thank goodness I was in my wheelchair and hubby was pushing he needed a puff of oxygen. Good luck with your assessments. Jane
Today i had a echocardiogram and on the wall was a notice that read " if you require a clown during this procedure please ask" it took me two minutes to realise it said gown not clown (i didnt have my glasses on) π
I donβt know if it would be reassuring to have a clown present during a procedure but it would certainly be distracting! Thatβs one way to take your mind off things π
All the best for tomorrow, I hope it all goes ok for you.
I was hoping krusty the clown from the Simpsons cartoon was going to pop out ( with accompanying carnival music) and do a few tricks , funny the things that randomly go through your mind when your bored
