Thanks for adding me. I’m recovering from my operation for early lung cancer. Although I’m doing well after my successful surgery I cannot stop the low mood I am experiencing daily

Is this normal I am 8 weeks post surgery. Thanks

Welcome Hwife1 and yes I feel it is normal to be in a low mood after what you’ve been through. I’m glad things are better for you after surgery though, great news.

Try and talk to someone about how you feel or the good folk on here can help too of course. Xxxxx

Hi and welcome. You've been through a life threatening event, invasion of your body so I think it's not surprising that you feel down. Sometimes we need a little help, it won't be forever.

Good luck to you and I'm so pleased your operation was a success. P

Welcome to the site, it is quite normal to feel down after major operations to do with the shock to the system . Hopefully you are now on the way to recovery and a future healthy life . Take care best wishes for a speedy return to normal, one day at a time as they say .

prednisone can commonly cause serious low mood- especially if on a high dose- even if on for a few days. High potency omega oil can help- I'm veggie n use the algae one by Together- usually helps a lot. This grey miserable weather won't be helping! Hope the Sun comes out and helps lift your spirits. Best wishes.
