I’m a new member to your group. I live in Arizona in the US. Since being diagnosed with Legionnaires disease, I’ve tried to find resources to help feel better, but it’s difficult. There seems to be more awareness and advocacy in the UK; there’s very little here. Thank you for your kindness in letting me join your group.

Welcome to you LWLD, there is a section on British Lung Foundation covering legionnaires disease so I hope you can connect to that.

Wishing you well. Xx

Hi lwld and welcome, did you get this through the airconditioning unit/shower and did you get straight on antibiotics. I believe it can take some time to get well as it causes inflammation on your lungs. I hope you get the right treatment and feel better soon. Take care. Irene x

Hello LWLD and welcome to our friendly forum! :-)

Here's a link which contains some useful pages that you could check out for further information on Legionnaires:

I hope this is helpful!

Best wishes,

Ben
