Is it normal???? πŸ€”

β€’12 Replies

OK so I'm coming up to my 2 year lungaversary! I had a single lung transplant and my other lung completely removed.

I am suffering extreme pain in both sides today to the point it has brought tears to my eyes. I want to know if this sort of pain is normal so long after a transplant?

I would contact a doctor just to be on the safe side. It’s best to ask a medical professional I feel.

Do let us know how things go please. Xxxx

You must have a team of doctors and specialist nurses? Can you not contact them?

There are a few here with transplanted lungs but not many.

I hope you get some answers

Yes I have a fantastic team at Newcastle who I see every four months I think I will be ringing the transplant team tomorrow if I am still in pain. Thankyou for your replies.

If you're in the UK, ring 111 the nhs helpline for advice.. I suspect they'll call an ambulance.

Best wishes

If you have not already done so , contact a doctor or 111 for advice. Or attend a walk in clinic if you have one near. If it gets worse call an ambulance
