After a good consultation today my consultant has spoken with the transplant team in Edinburgh re a transplant if all the tests come back Ok they will put me on the list, But because my age 64 it's close to their limit which is 65 and I have to be strong enough mentally and physically If I pass all the tests they have two options a Double Lung, or a Single Lung operation depending on it being compatible, Even now going through another infection since last week my consultant was delighted with my progress and my Lungs are in the same condition when I left the hospital.mattcass

Great news Matt on all counts. I too have been referred for a transplant and I wondered if he gave you any idea when we'd be seen. I understand us north of the border are seen either in Glasgow or Edinburgh initially.
