Hi just wondering if anyone has been on mycophenolate and how did you find it ,x

I have had 2 attempts at starting mycophenolate. Each time I got to week 3, i.e 3 tablets a day, I got so ill ( progressively more and more joint pains) that I had to stop. I haven't told the hospital yet, I'm afraid they'll think I'm a wuss.

I stopped taking sildanafil too. I'm now not taking anything for heart or lungs.

Hiya, I’m on these and have been for about 4 months now. I’m ok on 2 tablets a day but I struggled on 3 I was having really bad pains in the whole of my body. Bruises everywhere for no reason lots of my hair fell out and really bad headaches and just didn’t feel myself. I’m back on 2 a day and feel like myself. I’m hoping my hair comes back through. On the plus side my bloods are fab. Don’t let our experience put you off, everything is worth a try, not everyone gets side effects. Good luck let us know how you get on x
