Hi , I also take apixaban and I was prescribed carbicistine by my consultant.

Best check with a pharmacist or doctor to make sure.
Carbicistine should not affect him as my partner was taking it for a long time with no side affects.
When my dose of Carbocisteine was increased, the doctor checked and said it doesn’t affect anything else!
