Morning Carole & Pete, Yes, I too saw them on TV, the Dog was my Favourite. My family in Liverpool would have been amongst the Crowd, although it is the second time the Giants have been to Liverpool. I saw the Giant puppets on TV....absolutely amazing! Liverpool are doing well, I’ve managed to get tickets to see the Terracotta Army there next month.

Hi Carolina firstly my Nottingham is where i see my specialist twice a year and its so big that hospital it takes a week to walk around it lol . .im from close to liverpool well in between there and manchester but funny enough my uncle and aunt live in notts and my bro went university there and lived in a place called curlew wharf until he moved to London and then back round to his hometown ...he works in Liverpool at the university so has seen the giants which he said were fantastic .. i also got told the dog actually lifts its leg to pretend to wee well i heard that on the news last night but the work it takes to puppeteer them is astonishing and they must be soo fit hey ? .. i love to see people coming together and enjoying themselves as these days the news is usually such doom and gloom . I hope the giants hop foot to Nottingham one day carolina xxxx Hope your well xxx

Hi Mel, Thank You for your lovely comment. Yes, I do hope we get the chance to see them, (especially the Dog), although Ski's had said they retire and that was the last exhibition. sad. I have lived in Nottingham just over 5 years so,( City Hospital is Vast), still discovering Places to visit, it is a huge Place with many Beautiful Places and Country side. I left Liverpool to go to God's own Country West Yorkshire in 1980, Loved it Too. 1985 went to live in my heart's own Country Spain for 28 Years. I am one of The original Nomads I'm sure. Liverpool will always inspire a warm love in me, You can take the girl out of Liverpool but not Liverpool out of the Girl. That is True, That would be for most People wherever they are from.
