It is a shame they cannot name
For COPD a cure.
That involves less exercise
Instead of saying more.
Inhalers and those tablets,
Would no longer play a part.
Or eating lots of green stuff
That only makes you phart,
Fish and chips might do us good
And ice cream after that.
Because it's fighting COPD
It wouldn't make us fat.
But what's the point of wishing,
It's never going to be.
We'd better stick with what we've got
At least for most it's free.

We all know that somethings missing,it's obvious of course
cos although there's signs of ketchup there is no tartare sauce
but at least something is pleasing and put me at my ease
there is that veg that we all need a dollop of mushy peas

Great looking fish and chips, you can keep the mushy peas though, bring me out in a rash. When small, we used to get fish scones from a fish and chip shop in Keighley. It was made of 2 really thick slices of potatoes, with fish sandwiched in-between, stuck together and fried in batter - my stomach is rumbling just thinking about it.

Oh if only all the delicious lovely things were good for us and didn't make us fat. Your rhyme made me laugh wistfully. I am going to have to start a diet when I get back from visiting my brother, I've put on so much weight. No more munching my way through all the lovely things. Lots of green veg which made me laugh out loud in your rhyme and bananas for snacks. What a sad thought!
