Such a cutie I was going to the beach with me Dad..π
Wasnβt he looking big and strong..
So strange to be in the same hospital and see the same doctors! Small country..
Sunday was a quiet day, had a cup of tea and a chat with the nurses. They had a photo of him and I on their pin board! I was amazed! Looking much older than below π and so we exchanged funny Dad stories..comforting to know we live on in peopleβs memories.
The infectiologist wants me to wait until I see the ENT tomorrow. He may want to take some samples so I canβt be on antibiotics. They want to check if I havenβt got an oedema? What in my nose? Thanks for cheering me up π
No, I think Iβm fine, I just have the usual nose, throat and chest thing and I need my abs so I can get out of here!
I was right the ornithinolytica does come after a bird! So as we discussed etymology π I was continuing with my embroidery..and so I shall today..freezing northern wind..
What a lovely photo of a happy pair....both proud!
The memories came rolling back, Iβm sure ππ
Hope things settle down for you very soon, Fran. You literally seem to be stuck up a mountain at the mo πClimb down, my girl! Ha! It sounds as though all in hand if immunologist happy to leave you in the hands of the ENT folks. Good luck my friend πΉ
Just waking to a sea view in Treaddur Bay in Anglesey, Wales. Would send a pic but my phone has almost given up...no sound, no space for more photos. Once the iPhone X has settled into the market, Iβll get myself a new 8 or something. Could try my iPad I suppose....well, when Iβm feeling more energetic πͺπ€π
I havenβt got the famous antibiotics, they stopped the others after 7 days, that was Friday evening so I didnβt take the full 10 days and I am waiting for the next appointment so they can make up their mind about the course of action.
So like Penelope devoting my life to tapestry..π
Haha..Forever??Well Iβm no goddess π§ββοΈ

Buenas Dias Querida. What a beautiful Photo, Dad & Daughter. Was this in France ? somewhere Exotic I'm sure. I too look back at Old Photo's of my family, Inner Warm Healing Feeling. Sorry your not feeling too good at the moment Fran. You would think by now your Professionals would have the answer ? The last time I was at ENT, I was 14 having my tonsils out. Keep warm Carino. Besos. XXXX
Beautiful photo but somehow I always knew you were a pampered child.there is dad big.strong and handsome looking very much the Mediterranean heartthrob guiding his petite smiling daughter along the tree lined promenade yet he hasn't any shoes?he has spent all his wealth so that his cutie can enjoy a visit to the seaside.
Love the photo Fran. You both look so happy and ready for your day ahead. π I hope everything goes smoothly with the ENT and you get home really soon. Take care. xx π
Lovely photo Fran I love to look up old photos they bring back happy days. Hopefully they will get it all sorted now Fran and you'll be on the road to recovery π It's nice you enjoy embroidery. I used to get a lot of pleasure it's nice to see the end results. Take care Majt π

Thank you Majt. Yes I like it too, some creativity in my life π
Oh I am sorry Gladwyn..he was a good father to me, loving and supportive throughout my life.
I took care of him the last 4 years after his wife died. It was hard he fell to pieces emotionally and physically.
He died before Christmas.
I still find myself wondering what he would have said about this and that, when I am watching tv or talking with my brothers or my daughter. I could talk to him and he would give me good advice. I miss that. I am divorced so my parents have been supportive I must say.
Mum is 91 in November. She is fragile and I donβt want to burden her. But parenting is a strange skill, once you have taken on that decision and responsibility it will last throughout your lifetime.
Thank You Fran for your very kind and interesting response to my comment. I truly enjoyed reading it. A very caring insight into your personal family life which I appreciated brought tears to my eyes. Again ..... thank you xx

Well I saw the ENT who said I must only be treated by the LAM specialist and the others donβt know what they are talking about, it is very rare and specific, there are only a few such cases in Switzerland so they donβt have the background and the experience. It was interestingly frank.
So he personally thinks the opposite of the local lung specialist, it has all to do with LAM. My whole system is inflamed, it is a flare-up. So I told him Iβm going to the LAM specialist on Nov 7th, he will write his report.
In the meantime Im seeing my GP on his return next Wednesday.
Hope they're continuing to treat you well in hospital so you can get back home soon. It must be tiring doing all that embroidery. Loved the photo of you and your dad. It reminded me of one of myself and my lovely Italian mum walking along the prom at Viareggio. Think I was 9 at the time. Will have to see if I've still got it somewhere you are very lucky to still have your mum and your dad for so long . My mum sadly died when she was 61 in 1981.
Take good care of yourself.
I'm off to spend most of the day at the hospital where my husband has morning and afternoon appointments. See what that brings!
