Hi aĺl I'm New here not been very well this year with chest infections feeling low at the moment can't seem to be as active as I used to be im still feverish and my cough wont stop can't walk far if it's not copd it's arthritis or other way around is their an end to this ? Doom and gloom is all I see x

Welcome to the forum. I'm sorry to read your post, it's been a difficult time for you. May I ask what your official diagnosis is? I know that the last really bad infection I had, didn't really go away for months. And when we feel so unwell, that light at the end of the tunnel seems to extinguish itself. Please know there are many people here who understand what you are going through and you have a place here to find comfort anytime you need to. Be kind to yourself. 💓

Hello cas thanks for your warm wishes I feel not so scared and alone ......

It's copd arthritis I was in hospital for a week on antibiotics and ventalim iv been home for 4 weeks now I am improving but very slow , been back to my doctor and I'm on different antibiotics now iv got an appointment at the hospital this week I'm having xrays and lung function test because I mite have asthma I hope not

New baby this year she was born at home my daughter was fantastic, my son is having a baby boy he is dew November so one more to go that will be my 7th lol love them all X xxx have a great day cas hugs to you xxx

Hi again vixs19 . You definitely are not alone. Do you have an autoimmune disease? I have Rheumatoid Arthritis which caused my lung disease.

Feeling poorly can often be a vicious cycle of pain and breathing problems which never seem to end. You will get there though just one day at a time.

You’re not doomed and hopefully you have a good GP who can help.

Hi Hun, Welcome , Beautiful Pic, Beautiful Baby. Yes, I agree with Our Caspiana & Sassy , It is always a Struggle and you feel so Poorly that you think you will never get Better. You Do Get through it and need to Listen to the Resp. Nurse and Your Consultant. I also have Ostio & Arthritic Problems which Paracetamol takes care of. The Chest Infection you have to Medicate to shift it. Also Exercise and not smoking. The Doom & Gloom won't stay , you will get through it Hun and then Plan each day to get a Little stronger. As Cas said, Courage is what we all Have and Little by Little we get there in the end, Your not on your Own. Love n Hugs Hun. Carolina XXXXXX

Thank you for your hugs I am going to try and get back to my swimming soon and to loose some pounds and I do find all my meds confusing my mouth and throat feels sore as well I have cut down my smoking and feels like I'm going to stop very soon I'll keep you posted I am determined to do it , I need to for myself and family X XXX
