L.T.O.T. assessment and Walking test

Yesterday was my second assessment and it was much better than anticipated. The part where blood is taken from your earlobe was so good a plaster had to be applied to stop the bleed. The blood that was taken was tested and found to be excellent. All other tests were good. Then came the walking test......40 metres I was done in. Took about 5mins to regain a reasonable o2 level from 71 to 94%. So there was the good and the bad. To all who wished me well thank you and take care.

Dak,good to hear you don't need LTOT and i presume welcome to the Ambulatory club,i know you are probably a bit disappointed but have no fear, everything is doable with our friendly oxygen companion and you will soon find that is so.

best wishes Ski's and Scruff's....

Hello skischool. Seems like I was not clear in my message. Maybe I should have said update rather than assessment, as I have been on L.T.O.T. since September last year. Nevertheless many thanks for your post and the good wishes. All of us on HU need a bit of encouragement from time to time. What gets me about L.T.O.T. is this clear plastic tube that keeps following me everywhere. I will catch it one day. Take care of you and yours.
