This was on a bognor facebook page So: I was in the queue for ice cream at Aldwick beach and the Lady behind me seemed quite impatient...

As we got our ice creams she stepped forward and said "the back of your cafe is on fire"

NO JESTING!!!

SHE QUEUED UP TO TELL THEM.....

Is this polite, British or stupid.... I can't decide!!!

Reminds me of a time, which seems now to be another life. We were on a day out in Bath. in the square outside the Abbey and Pump Rooms. Decided as it was hot to have an ice cream, one of those soft ones that gets squeezed from a machine. Stood in the queue for about 3/4 minutes then ..my turn. Didn't get any, the handle came off the machine which emptied soft ice cream all over the place. Tried not to laugh but it was funny seeing all and sundry scrambling to get out of the way.
