Dry Skin especially on the face.

hi everyone 👋 if you are a oxygen user and have are using a nasal cannula, what face cream do you recommend that’s safe to use with oxygen? My skin is so dry it’s now itchy. Most of the creams I have found contain petroleum which of course can burn, so I’m at a loss

Any help is appreciated Thank you x

hi there, Weleda make an excellent moisturiser called Skin Food with all natural ingredients. It might be a bit thick for daytime but is great at night. Hope this helps.

Hi, I use cerave cream but I hadn't thought about whether it's got paraffin in it ! I stopped using vaseline on my lips but hadn't given face cream a thought. Any ideas on lip balm?

Hi BusterMovers, I use a vegan organic moisturiser by Garnier … Organic Lavendin Day Cream. Completely safe with oxygen and smells lovely.

I use faith in nature products. I also use Aveeno but I have to check the ingredients list as some aren’t safe. As for lip balms I use Burts Bees products.

Hi Bustmovers, I have found a face cream by a company called “ it”, I use all their makeup products because they are all water based, as with most things today it comes with a price tag but well worth it, available from Boots, apparently QVC occasionally sell it too for less but I have never used them so unsure of that, good luck, hope you find one that suits you, I personally love this brand 😊💐🌷xx

I don't use face creams but suffer from very dry skin on my body, arms and legs and I found a reasonably priced Aloe Vera cream which is safe to use with oxygen. It is sometimes difficult because the information on most toiletries is in such tiny print it is nigh impossible to read.

A few years ago I had the same problem due to the air con at work. A pharmacist recommended the old fashioned Nivea, the one in the blue pot. Layer it on really thickly overnight. It worked. I hope you find something that helps.

I use Weleda. They have a light moisturiser for the face and a fantastic lip moisturiser as well. Love their range which isn’t cheap but so worth it and safe using a cannula.

I went to my local pharmacy and asked them which face moisturizer was safe when using oxygen for my face. I'm using Bellissima which they recommended. I live in the US, but it's made in Korea so maybe your pharmacy has it too. If not ask them for their recommendations.
