A frog in ones throat the saying goes,

Most people know what you mean.

But only those people with COPD

Are familiar with something that green.

It's a sign of infection and mucus projectiles

Can come flying out of your gob.

Since you can't hide it but want to describe it,

It looks very much like a frog.
