Have COPD and last 2 weeks struggling more than usual. Could this be because of the high pollen count? Anyone else same problem? Thanks

Worse breathlessness
I have bronchiectasis and allergies and also struggling at the moment. The pollen count is high and this is probably the problem. I use my air purifier in my bedroom but otherwise it’s difficult to avoid. A little Petroleum jelly just inside the nostrils is supposed to help trap the pollen. Even my steroid nasal spray and antihistamine aren’t enough.
I keep my windows closed especially early morning and evening when the pollen counts are high.
Yes Val, I think your right. The muggy weather n high Pollen count left me feeling exhausted, at the weekend. Its a little better now that we've had Rain. 😊👍🌻
Hi Val, I have suffered much the same and thought the high humidity was the problem along with pollen of course but whatever the reason I have been very breathless these last couple of weeks and remain so today!
Thanks and hope you feel better soon. Hospital sent appointment for Thursday 10.45 the post arrived here at 2.30? After a year of being mistreated a scan not booked as consultant advised after several phone calls and passed from departments cut off 20 minutes on phone because of missed appointment l have now been struck off! This has made breathing worse as stressed.
Same with me, not sure if it is the heat or pollen or s combination.
Breathing getting worse and because of hospital miscommunication for a year and appointment at 10.45 Thursday and post arrived here at 2.30 now been struck off! It’s disgusting my specialist wanted me to be scanned last year l would never miss appointments twice l have not received appointment letters BUT always received the ones informing me l’be missed them. Really stressed and more stain on me his career. Hope you’re feeling better soon.
