I’ve had one for a few months now and use it in conjunction with a steamer to loosen the mucus then the Aerosure to bring it out with a certain amount of huffing. Certainly gives the old chest a rattle so don’t over use it if you get one. 😉
Hi pauls. The aerosure medic is not an inhaler. It is a device to help loosen the mucus. It is piwered by a battery and so it takes out the hard work associated with using flutter devices. I have bronchiectasis and so only occasionally have sticky mucus which is difficult to shift. However I wouldn’t be without my aerosure. I just had a virus and couldn’t breathe because the mucus was so sticky. The aerosure was worth its weight in gold. All of these things are a personal choice, depending on your circumstances.
I have one but only use it when I have mucous, which is not very often. I find it very helpful when I've caught a cold. It stays in its box for months on end.
Hi I’ve had one for few months now and find it helpful if I’m short of breath in between meds and it helps to loosen mucus .
