Tell them honestly the things you find hard. If you struggle to get dressed because you have to keep stopping to get your breath back say so. You are, I expect, proud of how you manage despite your lung problems but now is not the time to show this positive side. Think about your worst days, how the stairs feel like a mountain, the things you can no longer do easily. That's what you tell them about. Strangely they always seem bothered about walking. So you must stress how slow/tired/how many stops for a breather.

I was lucky the man who came to see me was kind and understood my problems.

Wishing you luck xx

The comments are great. Remember they only need to know what you find difficult they're not interested in what you can do so don't tell them any positives. Just concentrate on what is hard for you and don't hold back. We all have good days and bad ones and bad ones are what you need to base the assessment on.

I'm sure you'll be fine and they're always very pleasant, I've had to have them iro my disabled son.

Good luck x
