Ongoing pneumonia and advise needed

Hey, first time posting I hope you are all well.

9 weeks ago I finally got diagnosed with pneumonia after weeks of being unwell and a chest xray to confirm it. After 5 courses of anti biotics and steroids I still feel no better and had another chest xray today. Still showing a shadow on my left lung trying not to worry but any idea what It could be?

Had a nightmare with my doctors for the duration and feel like there is no trust there and worrying a little bit

Seems to me after this length of time you need to be referred to a lung consultant. Docs. Are not specialists. Stop worrying and ask for a referral. As soon as possible. In the mean while you could have a chat with one of the nice nurses on B.L.F.
