Does anyone know of a lipstick which is NOT petroleum or paraffin based please? I am now on oxygen therapy and been told not to use anything petroleum based. Many thanks.

Max-Factor do Lipfinity-Lasting-Tint. It is a water based lip stain. Have a look here:

amazon.co.uk/Max-Factor-Lip...

Though it doesn't always get great reviews.

Burt’s Bees. It’s make w/ beeswax an other natural ingredients, I believe it’s also organic. You would find it in a health food store although I was at the mall and saw it in department store, Macy’s I think . Your local pharmacy, here we call it a drugstore b/cuz we go there for other stuff besides prescriptions . I bet the pharmacist might know some. Here where I live people are really into the whole natural thing and gluten free is still all the rage. But I have a terrific chapstick right now made from Avocado Oul an I’m really impressed w/it. My lips are chronically chapped due skin cancer they don’t want to cut they say there’s so much I’d be disfigured if they cut it. Emu Oil is another one of my favs. Good luck w/your oxygenI hope breathing will feel more comfortable. Some of the good chapsticks you could use around your nose too.

Hi Sue, I have been on Oxygen 3 years now, I will not leave the house without my Lippy on, I am using the Lippy I Like regardless, still wearing it and have not changed it. I do however make sure my Body Cream is without "Paraffin" I use Avon Firming, it's cheap and not too much effort on applying. Good Luck. xxx

Greetings

Do you know, it never even occurred to me that my lipstick was petroleum based... just as it never occurred to me that standing over my gas cooker wasn't a good idea until the penny dropped. I wonder what else is out there for me, still to discover!
