When you get old you'll notice,
That the clocks increase their speed.
The things that you had time to do,
A bit more time you need.
I mentioned this to my friend Fred,
He said "You are a clown.
It's not the clocks have speeded up
It's you that's slowing down"!

Love it! I’m convinced time does go faster. I retired three years ago with big plans to do all the things I didn’t have time to do when I was working. I’ve barely touched the list yet!

The days fly by so fast, it's always the day to put the bins out, or the day to do the shopping list, or wash day, etc,etc. Weekends and holidays are not looked forward to in the same way as when we were working, then Monday seemed a lifetime away from Friday!
You've hit the nail on the head there Don though I'm not sure it's only us aged ones who think time's flying. A lot of younger people I've spoken too also think time's speeding up. I remember being amazed when we reached 2000 ! Sheila x
