You can be scared and brave at the same time, which is patently true of yourself. You will be in my thoughts and look forward to hearing of your improvement. Just think about how scary life would be without the op.
Hi hope everything goes well for you and you will be up and about very soon. Just keep thinking positive thoughts and how much better you are going to feel afterwards. Sending big hugs. ❤️❤️
I will be thinking of you and will be remotely holding your hand. You are at the best hospital and they wouldn't do the op. If they did not think it was safe for you! And definitely would not do it if they thought it would not benefit you. Lots of caring hugs to you. Please let us know your experience when you are able. I am sure lots of us on here would like to know more about this procedure. So you would be helping us too.
Hi Babs, The day has arrived, I have been thinking of you. Please don't be scared, you will be fine, you have the best Doc's & Nurses looking after you. As soon as You can after the op Let us know how you are and later, how well your Breathing is. Love n Hugs Hun. XXXX
Babs, well you were always favourite to beat me in the race for treatment, though it has been a close call so i will watch at the starting line as you do lap after lap of recovery until you cross the line and claim your prize which will be a body enriched with far more oxygen than you have now,i hope eventually to catch up with my long distance running friend so don't go to fast please.
You’ll be fine Babs! From my memory of it, try to get off the morphine ASAP, it gave me constipation, nausea and loss of appetite. You probably won’t be in a position to appreciate the lovely food they offer. Also they’ll get you walking up the corridor when you are still in hdu, even though you’ll be very woozy and not with it. I well remember struggling into the bathroom with my chest drain tube and jar, try to get family visitors to help you shower, it’s a bit difficult. Try not to worry, you’ll be home before you know it. All the best, Laura.
Best wishes Babs for a successful OP and speedy return to better health, look forward to hearing from you when you feel fully recovered. Take care ,one day at a time xx
