Hello Everyone, I am new to this community, although not new to COPD! I have been reading some posts and am really heartened by the general positive tone , which I will try to emulate in my posts.
Cheers everyone

Hello Marina02 and welcome to the forum.
Welcome Marina - while positive contributions are always welcome it is also a space to let off steam or ask for support through the ups and downs of dodgy lungs. But you have probably seen this already!
Hello Marina welcome to the group. You will enjoy it on here, yes we chat about the things we suffer from, but best of all is well can all have a laugh. We support each other. We look forward to hearing from you. Take care xx 😊 Bernadette
Welcome Marina
We may be ill but we enjoy gabbing about it and helping each other get through the bad times. And always ready for a laugh.
Hello Maina2. I have found being positive about our problems is the only way to handle it. I think it would be so easy to feel sorry for ourselves and I believe that makes things worse. Very nice people on here who will listen and help as we all have something in common. Good luck to you. 👍🤓
Thanks for that. I agree that negativity can lead you to neglecting yourself and that is no help at all - I work as a counsellor and do try to practice what I preach. But we are only human and will succumb to self-pity from time to time. Don't you agree it is about balance? Thank you for your good wishes
Welcome to our little group. Loads of info with BLF and share you thoughts and worries here in the forum.

Hi Marina and welcome to the club where we share our good news, bad news, moans and laughter. We learn from others with more experience and best of all we "listen " to each other when loved ones aren't always willing. As a counsellor you'll appreciate how valuable that is. These days when the postman doesn't bring a letter, when the phone doesn't ring, when no-one drops in, when a person lives alone it's so good to "drop in " and see what our BLF friends are talking about. Stay well, Sheila x
Welcome to the group Marina,
I am a newbie too! I like all the leaflets they have in here that you can freely read and print off or send off for—very helpful-hope you find the support you need.
Janzo💐
Welcome!
