1. Hold stomach in with both hands. Then take a deep breath in through your nose and blow out through pursed lips. Repeat 5 times.
2. Now hold our ribcage with both hands. Take a deep breath in through your nose and blow out through pursed lips. Repeat 5 times.
3. Hold your hands down by your side and 'huff' 5 times.
Doing the above daily will bring up any mucus you hold in your lungs.

To be sure you doing the technique properly ask for referral to respiratory specialist nurse Or specialist respiratory physiotherapist who will demonstrate the technique to you and give you an information pack to take away.
