Hmmmm..

That was the homemade cream pie on Saturday!

Well yesterday afternoon this black stain appeared on my operated eye. I tried to see but can’t see anything. Thought it was a blood vessel. I can feel something you know like when you have an eyelash. The nurse said it could be a complication and she would tell the doctor today. That’s all I need one day before the other op!

So I am having a cup of herbal sleep tea and dreaming sunny days and cream pie and please let me get this over with!

Saw Hold the Sunset, had a good laugh!! Needed to keep my chin up!!

Anyway I’ll try to catch some sleep before tomorrow comes..

Perfect day to you, perfect recovery. You are well on your way if the pies and tarts continue. Might I suggest some homemade butter shortbread cookies, dipped in molten white chocolate. Cool 2 hours and enjoy with hot tea. This is guaranteed to heal any cardiologist apathy. Get well, be well, we all love you quite well.

I hoped to wake up with nothing but it is still there. I will phone this morning, see if it can wait till tomorrow or if I have to go all the way to Lausanne this morning as he operates in the afternoon.

Will he want to operate tomorrow if this eye isn’t settled? Should I wait a little? We’ll see what the doctor advises.

Hoping your eye operation tomorrow goes to plan, without any hitches caused by first eye incident. I’m not sure how large the black thing you can see is, but could it be just a ‘floater’, as they call them? Something to do with tiny bits of fluid/gel escaping from one part of the eye into another. Nothing harmful. Eventually your eye doesn’t see them.

Thank you for your good wishes Meg, so do I!! Could be a little blood vessel, it looks like one more than a dot or a stain..Missing Bea and Aria, it is a long stay in this nursing home, two weeks already. Anyway we’ll see what today brings. Nice hot tea for now!

Hi not the greatest if I'm honest, a tough weekend. No relief from this nerve thing yet. But they are all in school today (against their wills!) and once I have the baby down for a sleep I'm going back to bed😂. Hope today goes well honey xxx

It is, thank you Fran, I'm going to try and go out on my mobility scooter for fresh air. Normally I would go to my exercise class with a spring in my step, I'm not 5gst fully recovered yet, but I will be, can't miss out on this lovely sunshine. Love n hugs. Carolina. Xxxx
