Hello all, Just wondering if anyone has similar experience? I popped to walk-in centre at local hospital ( not at home address) a few days ago. Told I have pleurisy and given Doxycycline antibiotic, nearly at end of course. I have had pleurisy before but had forgotten how painful it is !! My main concern is that I have recently been told by Opthalmologist that both my optic nerves are inflamed (sent to him by optician that noticed). Waiting for scans for that on 11/04/1'18. I don't know % of people with inflammation of lung lining that also have other issues of inflamed tissue. ( Must add I had Rheumatic Fever as a child , which is a concern ). I do wonder if all due to my auto immune system as suffer from other related problems too ( Re Strep Infections) which seem to be taken more notice of in USA than here ? Sorry to go on, just want to see if anyone can relate. Cough etc still sore, off work sick and Exhausted...even though not coughing all the time. Thanks, G.
