Burning back pain anyone?

This is what I get most from acid reflux. Today it's awful right between my shoulder blades in the centre of my back.

It is acid reflux that's causing this btw I do not have a heart problem, had tests to rule that out and my hearts fine.

Gaviscon is only giving temp relief today, feel like I could drink the whole bottle. I'm sitting with good posture to help.

If anyone gets acid reflux and back pain with it anything you can suggest to help?

I'm hoping tomorrow will be better I was okay this morning.

I get burning in my shoulder blades. Its cery uncomfortable. And worrying. I drink lots of warm drinks, and sit with a hot water bottle at my back. Keep warm. Paracetomol helps too if you can take them. Hope you fee better soon.

Also gaviscon, yes, is good. I suck gaviscon tablets.

Might it be indigestion or just wind rather than reflux? I've had pain from indigestion/wind in my upper back, even in my neck. So far Windsettlers have always solved the problem, I've tried both the capsules and the chewable variety and they've both worked though I prefer the capsules. Andrews liver salts or even bi-carb might be worth trying, but I don't think Gaviscon is likely to get rid of wind/indigestion, it could soothe it for a while though. Give Windsettlers a try if it doesn't go and let us know if they've worked.

Yes I will try those I'll get some tomorrow do you think you can take them with Esomeprazole which I take already? I'll check with the pharmacist anyway first, should be okay I think.

I wouldn't take them 'together' but a couple of hours between them should be ok. Do ask when you buy them though.

My cjemist recommenfed pepto-bismol when i told him my symtoms.i think i ve now got silent acid reflux from my reliever inhaler.cant wait 2 tell my gp. Im classed as an expensive patient already

Actually i told him my symptons and he recommed it as good all rounder.

Thank you but that's given me tummy issues before I'm afraid, it's a bit strong for my delicate tummy I've had ulcers in the past due to meds, got to be careful what I take.

You could try peppermint tea, liquorice and peppermint tea, or Milk of Magnesia.
