Why today
Hi Andy, have you got COPD? I have and i have lots of days like that. Especially in Winter.
Me too. Today has been awful. I’m sure the weather/atmosphere has a lot to do with it.

Don’t have clue doctor says looks like copd but waiting consultants. Get twinges if slight pain around shoulder blades if deep breath. Some feel flemy and tight other days feel fine. My last x Ray was clear three months ago. I’m assuming I’ll be dead by a week on Thursday.
Funny I said other day I felt so much better before I saw doctor.
Yeah, i nipped out and the air seems heavy. Think it's all the moisture about. I,ve left off my Swimming and Step for a while. Think it would be too much. Roll on Spring. Eh? 🤒
I seem to feel loads better if I jump on excersise bike for an hour
I have been like this, very seriously, for about 5 days. when I stand up, I lose my breath and panic. No doctor at the surgery over weekend, so called 111 on Saturday - this was brilliant. A doctor was here within an hour. He gave me Amoxicillin and Nasonex ( nasal spray). I can't say I am feeling better yet, but I am no worse. Talking to friends on the phone, I think it may be a form of flu. 7.20am 5th March. Kind thyoughts, Albert ( 83)
Hi Andy
I think this happens to most of us with copd
IT happens to me but just a puff of my ventoline rescue inhaler then ok
I used to do breathing exercise but that dont seem to work now or have to do it for a long time
OR If i start walking about for half hour it goes away
Music
i remember reading something about humidity aggravating breathing problems i'm having the same problem at the moment roll on the spring
Me too and coughing sharply and already on steroids and antibiotics ..... hard work this !!! x Also pains in shoulders and ribs ..... oh dear ....
Thankyou for your replies, I appreciate them. Nothing has changed today, but I am no worse. I can't lie down in bed to sleep so I am sleeping (trying to sleep) in my reclining chair. Under no circumstances will I go into hospital, which puts a strain on my dear wife (81) - we have been married 64 years - but she agrees with me. Hibernating, what a good idea, Sheila, then wake up all fit and well.
