Well today I popped out for a coffee before the heat set in as I have a little touch of sun stroke being bold and not wearing a hat well it's asking for trouble.๐ So decided today I would make a chocolate cake and this is what I ended up doing ๐๐๐

Chocolate fudge cake with buttercream and cherry jam filling . Been making cakes and pies since I was ten my gran taught me. Got to make my friend at the local taverna a carrot cake with frosting but will do that at the weekend. ๐๐๐ Gives me something to do when I'm in home ๐๐๐

I cook a wicked curry Tai and Chinese Indian you name it I cook it . Usually my Dutch friend who takes me to hospital appointments gets me making him all sorts of things pies especially cherry pie and Apple and blackberry pies .

Most definitely buddy , I make a wicked fish pie, among many other things. My Dutch friend likes my cooking. Well I enjoy passing time away and cooking is something I always loved

My brilliant mum tought me to cook, in those times there was 6 of us, she taught basic but filling stuff, ๐ 4 kids who grew up on her cooking ๐ณ miracles.neverdid us any harm.give it to kid's today, you would get screams off total disgust.

I know what you are saying my gran taught me to cook plus I got the equivalent to an o level in cooking at college wanted to go catering college but my parents couldn't afford it

Naughty but nice. At least it would be if I liked chocolate cake. Any other cake I love but just not chocolate. When I was a little girl I went to somebodyโs Birthday party. When it came to to the Birthday cake I went home in disgust and told my Mum โ They had chocolate cake. โ . I know Iโm odd because everybody else loves chocolate cake.

Morning daveyboy, got through another night,wow. We have a local bread and cake shop near us, wed and sat they bring us a large selection of pies and cakes, for free..public relations on their part, but still very nice.

Feeling so weird, doc upped my intake of serotonin, seems to think I need to calm down a bit more. Could be right, it also helps with sleeping and getting rid of negative thoughts ๐ด ๐ค

Fish to buy in shops very expensive here but the fishermen have pickup trucks and drive up the streets with the catch of the morning , can't get fresher than still wriggling and cheaper aswell he will dress the fish if you ask him aswell ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ

Sometimes you have to find stuff to eat the best way possible. I've had to go to the other side of the island just to find English sausages ๐๐๐ since coming back I've been busy cake making again I've made a carrot cake ๐๐

Well I love carrot cake. Who will eat all that there is rather a lot. It is a lovely cake. I don't bake myself because I am hopeless I really am. I remember when I was in school doing home economics (my pet hate) and everything I made either was burnt or didn't rise. I got a few stern words about that, I can tell you. Infact I was living on ready meals until i joined healthline. It has loads of interesting topics and there was one on healthy food versus ready meals as well as other things that weren't good for you. So now i very rarely buy ready meals and changed my diet ( they say it is never too late to change). So now I eat healthy food like fruit, nuts and seeds. I discovered that I like the food. I suffer with Anorexia so it is really difficult for me you see I never cook for myself and live on mostly salads and healthier cold meat. I will I promise you stop smoking because as I said before I am determined to quit. Oh I am so sorry I have rambled on and on. which isn't really like me so anyway please accept my apologies.

Nothing to apologize for, carrot cake is healthy because you are using natural sugars from the carrots but as I don't eat sweet things the cakes usually go to friends , I make them usually when I get stressed or have things on my mind it's therapeutic

It is therapeutic and it is great for your brain. It improves memory, cognition etc. I never have though of baking anything I don't even have any baking equipment or any tins or dishes. What am I like. I used to cook for my husband but as I divorced now it seems too much effort to look for someone else at my age. I could learn to cook something as I've got a few cookbooks. I buy them all with good intentions but hey there we are.

Not really something I worry about at this stage ๐คฃ plus I have a very large hernia behind my navel which as made my stomach area very hard so wouldn't know if I have much fat ๐๐ can't have surgery because of anaesthesia issues and I'm waiting for my new belt to hold it in. ๐๐๐๐
