Does anyone go Yoga?

I was thinking of trying it. I go line dancing which I love and jogging in spring summer and have exercise bike.

Thought Yoga might be nice too.

You seem pretty fit! I do a bit of Step just at home, Tai-chi and a little Yoga. Used to do Classes:but none around here now. Think Yoga would be great for you, but take it easy at first. They say it's better to go into position several times. I than try a d hold till it hurts. Good luck 😊

Yes I go to gentle yoga classes now as we are all of pensioner age....but I have been practicing yoga for many years.

The teacher adapts the postures for our differing needs.

It's good for uniting mind and body.....getting in the zone....and relaxation or meditation at the end.

Hancock, I do yoga, I have done yoga for years. I feel better after I've done yoga. I just do Giam DVDs, and the ones I find on sale. I don't know who it's by but, I started with am...pm yoga in VHS!! And, now I use the DVD!! I have also attend yoga classes, of which some were very strange, but I learned new poses from them.

Hope I helped you!

Yes, I have done yoga for several years. My classes are 2x/week for 90 minutes/class. I also ride my stationary bike 3x/week and run on the indoor track. Yoga can be very soothing and meditative. The breath work is good for your respiratory system and sun salutations are great strengthening and balance exercises. It's good for the soul.🙏

Yes, I do yoga, which obviously has a lot of benefits, including lots of breathing exercises. However, I do find the downfacing poses difficult as they seem to restrict lung capacity. There are different kinds of yoga and some teachers don't do a lot of downfacing poses. I find that the benefits outweigh the discomfort.

I do some yoga stretches each morning as part of my morning routine. Sadly because I have limited bend in my right knee and ankle, I found the local yoga classes too much of a challenge, as I had to modify nearly every position to be able to attempt them.

Yoga is a very helpful adjunct to PR type exercise. I have been practicing yoga and meditation for 25 years now and used to teach at one time.

I can’t manage a general class now but attend a chair yoga class instead which I love.

Give a class a try perhaps and see if you find it helpful 😊

We've been home since Wednesday but we've been in the garden and walked to our local shop, just haven't used the car. It's not too bad in SE London where I am but I don't drive in it. The kids enjoyed it though!

I think yoga is great, though since getting balance problems (Meniere's) I've been unable to do it. I'm thinking of taking up Qi Gong instead.
