I've been on it for six months and had no problems, but I don't know how I can know how effective it is.

Hi flicky, hope you are having a good day. I had been on the steroid ellipta previously, which worked well. The hospital doctor changed mine and said the steriod elliptia had not worked. At the same time I have been home oxygen. I feel worse now. Thank you for your response.

I've been on Anoro for several years now. I would describe it as having 'steady but not dramatic' results. I changed to Spiolto respimat in the summer which is, I think, the only other LAMA/LABA inhaler and that was dramatically effective within just 5 minutes. Unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction so had to stop immediately but I do wish I could have tolerated it. At my resp hospital appointment last Monday, I told my consultant that I didn't think (based on experience) that the Anoro was as potent as the Spiolto but he disagreed flatly with me. . . .

I wonder if many of our doctors have ever tried these inhalers?

Been on Anoro Ellipta over a year. It is not a steroid. It is a combination of 2 broncodilators. Results have not been a life changing event. My COPD is not in the later stages
