CONTINUES CHEST INFECTION...HELP, PLEASE

My first thought was as your GP sent a sputum specimen. Your infection could need a different antibiotic. Or you may need a longer dose. There is a possibility that you may need a combination of antibiotics.
Hello Anji
Several suggestions, go to your GP to have a check up because repeating the same antibiotics doesn’t always clear your infections you need some blood/sputum tests to see what is going on.
2. Is prevention, a treatment review would see if your preventer is still effective, often it is down to our inhalers and inhaling techniques.
3. Get a referral to talk it over with a respiratory specialist if you haven’t been to hospital for a while.
Good luck x
