Just to update everyone who was kind enough to comment on my original post. My partner had his ct scan 9 days ago at 8am. He was told it would be between 7 and 10 days before the results were ready. He called his gp surgery yesterday and they said there were no results in yet and he should call back next Friday. I feel a bit more positive now as I would think k if there was anything sinister they would have been in touch by now. Also his cough has almost cleared up and he is feeling well. Just thought I would post an update.

Claire, hopefully you are correct. In the states anyway, the worse the news, the sooner you hear; conversely , the better the news, the longer it takes to hear. BestWishes, judg69

Hi everyone! Great news, my partner had a call from his gp yesterday regarding his ct scan results. She said his lymph glands were swollen and that given he had been unwell it was normal. He is to go for another ct in 3 months just to make sure his glands are back to normal. Relieved isn't even the word!! Thank u all so much for your kind words it really helped. Xxxx

Hi

I'm about to go through the same as what you have but my hubby (who has never smoked like yours) has a few more symptoms. I'm trying not to show my worry, apart from when we got the call in Ikea from hospital consultant and I couldn't contain my tears or all the way home 😕.

I just hope it's a stuborn infection but they have mentioned Sarcoidosis.

So glad your husband is ok.
