Memory

Anyone find that their memory/cognitive ability is affected by prednisalone or one of the other common copd meds? Turned up for a session with my copd nurse this morning after struggling to walk through the rain and wind, only to find that it’s not the 22nd today after all. Who’d have guessed?

Hello COPDPete .

Yes, I have a memory like a sieve So, I have to pop things into my diary as they happen. I am on so many meds they give me "brain fog". I hope you had a bit cup of tea after and something lovely for tea.

Sending best wishes.

Hi I completely relate! I am a busy mum of 4 and generally super organised, but when I'm on pred I'm scatty, forgetful and cant think straight at all. It's like I've sand in my brain 😂. At 36 it's got to be the meds...😂.
