When you've made a pigs ear of something, there's only one way of saying sorry in Midge's book!

Is that the real thing Don?if so it must have been an extremely large pig just back from a very sunny vacation.Midge has a look of stoic resignation about her?i hope she enjoyed her treat....Skis and an impressed Scruffy x
Yep, that's a proper pig's ear. Well it was the pigs, it's Midge's now.
I usually cut them in half but she ran off with it before I had the chance. I am please to read that you managed to get away on vacation, that will have done you a power of good.
Nice leaf??shoe sole?? 😃. Ahhhhh she’s got sweet eyes..bet it works!!
Pig's ear.
You can't make a silk purse out of a pig's ear Don . . . have I got that right? Anyway, Midge loves it. Dora loves them too.
Wow Midge its nearly as big as you. 😂 😁 🐶
The proud new owner of the pigs ear......and it looks as if Midge Isn't going to let anyone take it away from her.😊
How gorgeous is she, how could anyone resist those dowful eyes bless her. ✋️😊
So talking about "pigs ear".... Why do people say for example...." I've made a proper pigs ear of that!?" Seeing your post just made me think and whilst I'm here,I might as well be honest and say that all along,I've just presumed your marvellous Midge, was in fact a boy! Please dont tell her as she may be very offended!!
Do pay attention, SquirrelsHolt , O2Trees gave you the origin of 'pigs ear' meaning 'a cock-up'. (It's also rhyming cockney slang for beer.)
Midge is a bit of a tom-boy so she wouldn't mind your little mistake, but I won't tell her just in case.
Oh indeed,I do need to keep up with all of you. You see what happens to ones mind when there's not too much going on,lol !!
Have a good weekend if weather permits although in South East, its cold, dismal and dreary!
Nah! I think there's quite a lot going on in there.
The weather here in the North West was beautiful yesterday, so much so that I started getting my old campervan ready for it's first Spring outing. Today it is like you have, cold dismal and damp, and Spring seems a long way away.
