lung volume reduction or valves

hi has anyone had the lung volume reduction op or had the broncho valves fitted im up for one of these in april so im interested to find out what the results are please

Im being assessed for valves in the spring (weather warmer, less infections around). I'll post here if I learn anything useful.

Same with me 02Trees, Spring weather Warmer, have had the CT Scan, X Rays, Bloods, See my Consultant in April to Determine if I can go ahead with the Valves...I am still on the Transplant List and will continue to be so even if I do get the Lung Reduction. Will know more in April...Good Luck to You & Bjayr123..Will keep you informed also. xxx

be lucky and i will keep you informed and let you know as soon as i have had either the valves or the lung volume reduction op wont know which one i have had untill i wake up so be lucky x

great hope your able to have them im up for my op sometime in april date to be confirmed but hope you get on ok i will post after op to let you know which procedure i had and how its gone on
