Sorry to hear about frustrations, Margaret. Things do get out of hand at times and we don’t know where to turn so thank goodness for this website where you can be assured that someone cares enough to let you know that you are in their thoughts.

God bless you

That all sounds a good plan. Hospices are excellent and go at things very differently, have more time and can really assess your needs.

Good to hear from you again.

Ok that’s good to know Margaret..

Ahhh they must be effective those primrose tablets I have never tried them. Which ones do you take?

I am supposed to quit oestrogen as I have LAM it is not advisable but I still have a minimal dosage..we are not allowed phytoestrogens either like soya products..

I am glad the nurse was there for you Margaret. Hope you have a better night tonight xx

Hope you have a nice Break. In my neck of the woods. Yes cant get away with changes .They are very good here in hospice when I got stressed they really helped I have had issues with the Bath have developed a real fear so they are going to try and help me overcome it xxx

Morning, hope all is well with you, understand your concerns about bathing. I have a walkin shower now with grab bar for support. Showering uses a lot of energy when the lungs are failing. Give it time and I am sure you will overcome your fear with help. I always fear a fall especially when you are on your own like I am. Best wishes xxx

Yes, you are right about the frustration on the sight. I am constantly being knocked off where I am trying to get to! The numerous ad's and junk mail are taking over! The site is not the same. Took me nine trys to finally get here! When I try to post I am taken back to where I started! Any one else having problems? I have written to help section with no response! If it keeps up, I am dropping off! Whats with all the advertisements??

Advertisements? Where are they? I don't understand as I don't see any unless you mean the one BLF leaflet promotion at the top.

Oh dear Margaret, what a lot you have had to deal with. The PR and Breathe Easy will still be there but if the hospice can sort out your meds and help you feel better it will be worth the wait. Hope the help people get back in touch with you about your problems in getting on to the site very soon.

Would be lovely to rid myself of these anxietys mind you I was suppossed to begoing to be helped with Bathing this morning Because i have had some issues I have asked now it looks like evening so I am knawing at my knuckles pathetici isnt it Best wishes to you and the Headmaster xx

Carnival567 profile image
Carnival567 in reply toTime_2_drink

I hope the bathing goes well and you feel better for it. You can't avoid the anxiety sometimes. I am getting fed up with having to do NHS admin for them. Doesn't help when you are gathering so many health problems that you are getting to know all the local hospitals. I am due a cataract operation next week. I have already told them about heart catheterisation and sent them the result, which they have lost! Sent it again this morning, but still have to ring next week before I go to see if the anaesthetist agrees to go ahead. The only thing that cheers me up in a strange sort of way is the thought that I am not alone, but we shouldn't have to do it! The Headmaster is well, and still sitting patiently in various waiting rooms. Bracken thinks it's boring sitting in the car, but a dog doesn't trust his people to manage by themselves. He sends a waggy tail and hopes you enjoy the bath, but can't imagine why humans are so keen on bathing as it seems an overrated activity to him. All love xxx

Time_2_drink profile image
Time_2_drink in reply toCarnival567

Sometimes it feels like we should be on the pay role for some of these services you seem to be doing all you can to help them then they blatanly loose the evidence shocking Hope yourop goes well i was told last year i had cataract. But it needs to mature wish could get it over with sight is precious hi to Bracken not a care in the world all the best to you and yours xxxx

Carnival567 profile image
Carnival567 in reply toTime_2_drink

I couldn't do a worse job I sometimes think. Bracken could probably do it too. At present he is playing with his squeaky ball, at nine he will curl up in his sitting room basket, and at ten he will ask to go to his bed in the conservatory (heating on of course). Hope you are feeling a bit better this evening. Best wishes to you xx

All the best Margaret! I hope this hospice stay will be a blessing in disguise for you. It certainly can't be any worse treatment than you have had to suffer this last year! It sounds like it's going to a holistic exercise in which case would be terrific if they can sort out all round difficulties you have and are experiencing, and in a more calmer atmosphere than in hospital.

Regards Ann xx

Time_2_drink profile image
Time_2_drink
