Am 27 my lungs age 80 , how can I become normal?

Can I ask how you know you have the lungs of an 80 year old please and what caused it so I can offer better advice.

Recently I had pain in Center of my chest , so I went to doctor he did spirometer test and I used to smoke since 9years

Did he say what the cause was, is it asthma or copd etc

I don’t give out my email sorry, if you tell me what the doctor said caused it I’m happy to offer what advice I can.I have copd I also have chronic asthma as well as other health issues.I stopped smoking which I’d recommend anyone with lung issues to do and I try to exercise as much as possible, no marathon running just trying to keep as active as I can.A healthy diet with lots of leafy greens, plenty of water, as hydration can be a problem with lung diseases and red and black berries to help with removing toxins from the body and for extra vitamins.I know it’s counter intuitive to exercise when your breathings not great but it really does help.
