Good morning everyone , woke up to a christmas card look outside this morning. Just had another flurry of snow after I cleared the path, not too deep but if it freezes tonight might be hazardous tommorrow by road and foot. Have to get to doctors for appointment this afternoon, but otherwise had a nice Christmas with family visits ect. Hope everyone had a nice Christmas but I am aware that some may have had a poorly Christmas that's the nature of our illness. Hope the new year brings you all some brighter times. Looking forward to the spring flowers and budding trees, so heres to a happier and healtheir new year 2018

Be careful out there this afternoon Kate, don't slip. The wind is bitterly cold. Won't be too long now before we see the daffodils coming through. We had a lovely Christmas, better than last year. Happy New Year Kate. Lilian xxxxxxx

I’m so glad you had a lovely Christmas Katie with family visits. Like you feel for those ones who are ill or have nobody to visit them, this time of year can be joyous but also very sad!! This cold spell has come as a shock. Thankfully we didn’t have any only snow with rain. Yes when it settles and freezes it so dangerous.

Hope the drs appt went well.

Let’s look forward to blue skies spring flowers and sunshine.

Wishing you a happy new year. Keep

warm and safe. X

Hello Maggie153, I also visited a sick lady who is on her own and have another one to visit this week when she returns from her daughters. We are long term freinds who are getting older and less able to get out who live near each other. Have been referred to physio to try and strengthen the power in my right arm and my other problem may take twelve months to resolve/get better return to Dr if it becomes painful. Can tell it is cold the birds are feeding on the berries on my hedge in their droves, had the heating on low all night to save burst pipes ect. Think I will have to stay in today as it is so cold and possibly slippy under foot, not very nice when your on your own but safest. Have a lovely new year weekend hope to speak again soon xx
