Hi all, I have waited for ages to hear about my tribunal about being turned down for PIP they turned me down even after being put at 55% disabled with asbestos lung by a DWP Doctor the day before I went for the face to face with the DWP, and I was 15% disabled on DLA anyway so 70% and still refused me, who can i get to help me with the tribunal and what is it like at a Tribunal, thank you
PIP Tribunal : Hi all, I have waited... - Lung Conditions C...
PIP Tribunal
Sorry to hear this. You culd seek help from Welfare Rights if your council has one, CAB or DIAL. You need to do it quickly though as they are inundated.
Good luck.

Have you tried Citezens Advice, I have found them really good in the past and will make all your calls on their phone.
Why not call Biddy, our Benefits Advisor on the BLF Helpline? See her post here.
healthunlocked.com/blf/post........
Or send her a private message with your phone number and she will call you back.
Good luck.
Hi try benefits and work.com and tribunal process is ok very informal chat about how your disability effects you .. good luck
yes,,as Alan says try www benefitsandwork.com
they offer a lot of information, advice and news re DLA shenanigans etc.
it is a subscription service, but NOT expensive NOR a scam by any means, and once subscribed you are entitled to download any or all if their guides to dealing with applications efc.
I'm subscribed as I'm trying to pluck up courage to apply for highest rate care - but I'm on DLA and any appliicztion would mean moving to PIP - and quite frankly at present I don't feel I could face the hassle or the stress of that.
As a subscriber I receive a regular report from benefitsandwork, always interesting, and if you, or anyone else, would like to see that, just give me your email address and I'll forward you a copy. I'm not an agent kr anything, have no connection with them other than as a subscriber, but I do believe they can and do help, and fight for people at the mercy of govt services - some of whom act quite illegally to prevent paying out valid claims.
it may take a fee days before I can forward anything, I'm at last being released from hospital today, having survived the NHS for over a month, and feeling worse and weaker than the day I went in
Best of luck with your case.
