Hi stone-UK.
Thank's for that - i do have quite a few medical conditions. i seem to be stable on most so was surprised to find this [ FI - Frailty Index0.36 ] test results visible on my online test results. I expect quite a few medications have a bearing also.. I have had one nasty fall down stairs at my previous address, but did not go to the doctor over that, as I did not want travel insurance to rocket higher than it is - i may as well not have bothered, a COPD flare up has made travel. impossible as chest infection on top of other stuff, makes premiums rocket. Thank;s for the interesting and informative links.
We have so many labels..I have severe asthma although it was never confirmed I think..I haven’t had a proper asthma attack just stopped breathing but it has remained on my file next to lymphangioleiomyomatosis..😃wonder which one is more severe really..I leave labels for the medical profession..
The problem is the insurance definitely..They love labels so they don’t pay up..
Good luck with that xx

Yep. I have to many labels. I use the online service so I see most things. I have CKD Stage 3 - Half of the year THS low and THS high. History of VT, current AF & SVT Not forgetting COPD. I seem to suffer from a lot of initials.
You have "lymphangioleiomyomatosis" - I am sure I had a friend some years ago who had that, and it caused him to have a pneumothorax more than once.
The insurance is a con though, you have to declare everything or they won't pay out. for example I take Statins because I was told to, even though I don't have high cholesterol, but because I take 'Atorvastatin' - they charge be an extra premium for having hyperlipidemia - Which I don't have.. there are other examples such as high blood pressure I had 30 years ago, I get a premium on that because it is still on my records despite the fact. my blood pressure is low...
Looks like I will be going down South next year, to Bognor or Clacton as it's to cold in the North West..
Hi Ern
Yes I understand I see it in the hospital reports..
I don’t look too hard at the terminology..at the end of the day the real question is how do you feel presently..like one day at a time..I don’t think any further, it doesn’t help me.
The other day I think it was the physiotherapist who asked me what was my life project?? I mean where do they get their lingo..
Strange your friend got that, very rare in men..exactly they usually discover it after a pneumothorax..
I’d look for a more clement weather too..
Take care x
Fran
Hi Fran. I could have been mistaken, I seemed to recognise "lymphangioleiomyomatosis" - It could have been a female friend to had a lot of pulmonary, both had more that one pneumothorax.
I have a problem related to women. A lump in both breasts, - I was tested for Breast Cancer with a scan and mammogram (Twice) The results "Male Gynecomastia" - sore but harmless. More painful were the mammogram's - For a man it is not easy.
In NW England where I live, the sun is shining and very bright, also the lawn is full of frost. Cold but much better than the rain.
You take care Fran and keep warm.
