Not liking these Changes......

Hi, I am new here, was Diagnosed with Bronchiectasis in September this year, apart from the 2Breo auto halers, antibiotics and ventolin I am on for this condition, the only meds I am on are Rizzomelt for migraine, and eltroxine for my thyroids... my body is going through sum changes that I am not liking, swelling,short of breath all the time,and grumpy...... I gave up smoking on the 1st of October this year since all this I am getting lotsa utti coughing up blood and getting alot of joint pain..... is tgis normal..?????

Coughing up blood you need to go back to your gp, though it is normal to cough alot after you give up smoking. well done for that. And bronkiestasis will give you a cough to. Alot of your other symptoms sound like side effects i get grumpy on steriods and if im on them long enough i get puffie the name for it is moon face😕 but i think you should wright a list of complaints and eather talk to your pharmasist or see your gp you may need to try different inhalers but you wont know till you ask good luck i hope you are feeling better soon

That is really good advise from corrienna there Raka I know I'm feeling really bad at the moment too with 8th chest infection just one after another, and the steroids sure don't help me feel good either, I hope you do get that problem if coughing up blood sorted out

Yes I do too, thankyou, my biggest problem is that all these bew things are happening.... just over a week ago, I had gone to see my Gp and I had to go on a nother antibiotic as well coz I now have a kidney infection..... gosh I only had thos wen I was pregnant well my fifth baby is now 29 years old....

I have Bronchiectasis and Emphysema, my nurse told me that my inhalers are for Emphysema and not Bronchiectasis, the meds for Bronchiectasis are Steroids and antibiotics ! might be worth having a chat with your dr

Thanks yeh my Gp told me the same I just dont think the antibiotics are working coz I am coffing up blood and still alot of thick mucus sputum.....
