I am enjoying the mild weather and the sunshine is cheering me up.
Iโm not hiding my head in the ground but I think the 24h test will wait another week. I need the prospect of a myeloma like a kick in the head so got to enjoy the present..
And look at that cheeky cat taking her side of the bed while I am away๐
Enjoy your stay in and soak up the warmth. It will make you feel better and a "diagnosis" can wait. Not much is going to change in a week or so. Relax and have some wine and a cheese plate.
Thank you Lindy, Iโll take you up on the wine and cheese!! ๐
Yes I agree relaxing and de stressing is perhaps best than when ur feeling stronger minded u can deal with the test (I know exactly how ur feeling fran )xxx I'm not coping well with this 3 day assessment for double lung transplant I'm so scared so have decided I'm not in the right frame of mind to make such a huge decision I'm getting myself built back up physically and mentally then going to face that challenge xxxwhich the team said is quite normal xxx

Yes when you stop going, you can feel very tired, well thatโs what my body is saying right now ๐
I understand you Mel, it is a big decision to make.
All I can tell you is that some of the ladies in the Lammies group who have had a double lung transplant said it changed their lives and they never looked back. They are still on Sirolimus afterwards because it doesnโt alter our genetics but their quality of life has improved. In the States they do them until 70 years old. I couldnโt believe it.
It would be good to exchange with LAM patients who have had the op if you havenโt already so you can feel reassured. In any case the team should provide with support.
I met another LAM patient on this site the other day so there are 3 of us so far. I will look for her name in the discussions and DM it to you.
Definitely stay on where it's warm ๐! Give yourself a week to strengthen your body and soul and we're all with you for when you're back. Thinking of you ๐ป
A great idea Fran and let's face it, just what any doctor with any sense would prescribe. You do know it's going to get very crowded down there as we all move out there for our virtual weeks in the sun
Happy enjoy what sunshine you can grasp but check out your moggy,i fear she has been over doing the medications observed on the bed side table lol.i told you i was a nosy Mancunian.ha ha.................love skis and scruffy xx
