Just had really good news ,been discharged from hospital.Dr says I have 2 small damaged tubes (very small) but says because I’ve had untreated asthma this has caused the damage .Allergy test came back allergic to cats dogs dairy pollen and cigarette smoke .Got 2 fur babies Bonnie and daisy but Dr say I can keep them haha.Dr just advised me to keep doing what I’m doing ,huff coughing and listening to my body.If you have that nagging cough insist on a ct scan .I would still be coughing and spluttering and worrying myself to death.Dont take no for an answer and read all the wonderful messages of support from this fantastic site !

That has just answered my question, I saw my second CT scan with more than two damaged tubes, in fact at least four maybe five, plus I have fold or crease all the way down my left lung also, and my consultant said I have chronic bronchitis, but my first consultant in 2009 said I have bronchiectasis, so I think what I really need to do is try to get back to see my first consultant, as i am beginning to think it's got something to do with not paying out pip, not that I had it in the first place, but I'm starting to wonder now. I am pleased that you have been discharged from hospital and I hope that you have been given the correct advise to stop this horrible disease from getting any worse, exercise is what everyone says is the best thing for you to keep fit and have a good diet, so stay strong and best wishes. X
