This is odd. Yesterday evening I started shivering, I had a temperature. Headache, tummy ache and very thirsty. I had a piece of toast this morning. I still have a temperature, it comes and goes. No coughing or sneezing. On Tuesday night I had the same thing but worse. At one point I got very hot and sweaty and thought I was going to faint and I was nearly sick. Also indigestion. On Wednesday I felt very poorly, only ate a cracker and drank water. Thursday I was fine. A few months ago it was the same except I did faint and was sick. Has anyone else experienced this? A gp is ringing me this afternoon.

Poorly and feverish
Sounds like what my daughter had..keep warm, plenty of fluids, a bit of salt a bit of sugar..
Good luck with the doctor 🌸
Thanks. If I wasn't really ill I wouldn't have taken any notice
Of course..I had to take my daughter to the doctor’s..she had a blood test and fainted there and then, after the cold and cough she has the tummy problems..so many viruses around already!
Take carex
Sounds very unpleasant inamoment, it's not the 'flu is it? Hope your doctor can help. Love Lilian xxxxx
It is. I don't think it is flu, it comes and goes and when it goes I can eat
Inamoment, I hope the doctor sorts it out. So unpleasant. Jump at the opportunity to eat when you fell well, but don'r load your tummy too much.It sounds a bit like a cold, hot and sweaty, then cold, typical of some kind of infection.Keep your body warm, inside with hot drinks and outside with warm clothes and a hat, as from the head heat is going out a lot.
Tell us what doc found out. Mic
The gp rang at 6.30 or so. He said that sounded confusing and asked if I could come up to the surgery. My daughter took me. I turned to be somewhat wonky and wobbled across the car park. And much more out of breath than normal. He saidcit was likely a uti or a chest infection. As I couldn't produce any sample and my lower right lung was rumbly, it looks like a good a chest infection. I decided on antibiotics rather than a trip to a&e. If it doesn't clear he said to go to a&e. My gp's are lovely, this happened well past 7pm and they never seem rushed.
Thats brilliant. Hope you feel better soon
I had similar symptoms end September , my pillow would be wet through and had severe stomach pains. Currently awaiting results of a scan that looks at liver, gall bladder, pancreas, and bile duct. And have been put on fat free diet. Now feel ok. Hope your doctor gets you sorted soon.
Oh I've had that one, all those bits were Tickety boo. I had a very nice letter from the consultant going through each bit and telling me it is NORMAL. I told her it was a lovely letter as I had the impression none of my insides worked. She said yes, that's why she sent it. I think I have a lung infection. I know it is minor compared to what some people here put up with but I've not had one before and I didn't know what was wrong.
